Brita Water Filters named to Sunday Times Top 50 Best Small & Medium Companies list
Leading water filter manufacturer Brita has been awarded a place in the coveted Sunday Times Top 50 Best Small & Medium Companies To Work For list 2004. Brita was measured on its teams’ confidence in the company’s future, the quality of and opportunities for training and development, staff benefits and the company’s focus on well-being among other things.
The achievement follows Brita’s announced plans to relocate its operations to Bicester, north Oxfordshire to brand new offices and state of the art production facility. Recruitment is currently underway for positions that will be created by the move.
David Banfield, Managing Director for Brita UK said: We are delighted to be a part of the Sunday Times Best Companies list. The achievement is all the more significant as it comes as a result of feedback from individual employees. Although Brita has achieved Investors in People status, an appearance in this list provides us with another opportunity to benchmark our progress in terms of making Brita a comfortable, compassionate yet stimulating and fun place to work.
Brita is the driving force in the water filter category, manufacturing water filter jugs and kettles, and industrial filters for the catering, coffee and vending industries. Investment from Brita has played a major role in the growth of the jug filter market in the last four years, from £57 million to £96.5 million.
