Brita water filters still investing in people!
Leading water filter manufacturer Brita is delighted to announce it has continued to meet the Investors in People Standard, which was first achieved over a year ago. The assessment applauded Brita’s unrelenting focus on the customer and willingness to improve its working practises.
Brita has continued to improve its focus on areas such as feedback on staff performance, training and development needs and people management. And according to feedback, this activity has helped to further strengthen its focus on the customer.
Also, some restructuring has enabled Brita to "strengthen its focus on specific trade sectors, and a large number of positive customer comments are still being received thanking Brita for a level of customer service which exceeds expectations."
David Banfield, Managing Director for Brita said: "Brita has always prided itself on a keenness to provide a positive, motivational working environment and this recognition further demonstrates the level of our commitment. In turn, we hope to continue reaping the benefits of being an Investor in People such as attracting high calibre employment candidates, improved productivity, greater customer satisfaction and competitive advantage."
Investors in People is the national Standard that provides a framework for improving business performance and competitiveness, through setting and communicating business objectives, and developing people to meet these objectives. The result is that people’s abilities and motivations match the requirements of the company.
