Electrolux water purification changes its name to Dometic
Until the year 2001 Dometic was part of the Electrolux Group, the world's largest manufacturer of household appliances. As part of the Electrolux divestment program, Dometic became a legal entity in its own right with EQT (a private equity firm) as its new owner. The main reason for Electrolux is to focus even more intensively on its core business to maintain its worldwide market position, and for Dometic to exploit the opportunities of further growth open to their unique product ranges on the world markets.
DOMETIC IS THE WORLD'S largest producer of compact direct flow R.O. water purifiers, absorption refrigerators, rooftop air-conditioning systems, windows, awnings and other vital convenience products for caravans/ motorhomes, recreational vehicles, hotel rooms, hospitals, homes and other areas of use. In 2001 approximately 3,600 people were employed.

- Confidence RO 400 / B: The world’s most capable reverse osmosis water purifier for home use, capable of purifying very tough water qualities, even brackish water.
- Confidence Fullhouse: A whole house R.O. system.
- Continuous flow UV 160: A counter-top water purifier that combines carbon block filter with ultra violet disinfection.
Semi-Industrial / Commercial R.O. Systems
Our reverse osmosis systems are adapted to suit a variety of professional uses. Since our systems are the result of some unique technological advances, they deliver unsurpassed capacity in relation to membrane size.
