Aquapal®-the new rubber hose for drinking water

With AQUAPAL®, the new branded hose from ContiTech Schlauch GmbH, Korbach, the PAGUAG SCHLAUCHTECHNIK section is marketing a unique high-quality product. This new product will be unveiled at the Hannover Fair.

Drinking water is one of the most precious resources on our planet. Wherever it is stored or transported for human consumption, the demands made on the hoses through which it flows should comply with absolute neutrality regarding taste, odor and the unwelcome growth of microbes. With AQUAPAL®, the PAGUAG SCHLAUCHTECHNIK section has developed a hose for drinking water.

Regulations for drinking water became stricter on January 1, 2003, and this rubber hose for drinking water obviously complies with the new regulations," according to Wolfgang Faßbender, marketing manager for the PAGUAG SCHLAUCHTECHNIK section. The suitability of the hose for conveying drinking water was certified by the Gelsenkirchen Hygiene Institute (in accordance with specifications for plastics and drinking water, category "C" and procedure W 270 of the German Technical and Scientific Association on Gas and Water). AQUAPAL® meets the most stringent purity requirements - be it at public festivals, trade fairs or other open-air events.

But the area of application of AQUAPAL® is much wider. For the requirements of authorities and users regarding the hygiene, purity and taste of mobile drinking water systems are central themes running through virtually all aspects of daily life: in the food and beverage industry, commercial kitchens, camping and caravanning facilities, in hose assemblies to fill drinking water containers used in rail, bus, ship and air transport as well as emergency supplies in the community.
