The new innowave chillerTM gets the lead out

The Mutual of Omaha subsidiary, innowave incorporated, known for its state-of-the-art water treatment systems, has introduced its new innowave Chiller product, which reduces lead, cysts, chlorine and turbidity in drinking water.

The innowave Chiller utilizes a sediment filter combined with a one-micron carbon block filter to treat drinking water at the point-of-use. This combination of filtration technologies is proven effective in reducing organic contaminants, chlorine, lead, cysts and turbidity and improves the taste and odor of the water.

Quality point-of-use drinking water treatment systems are emerging as a popular alternative to tap and bottled water in the business environment, according to Thomas Weekly, innowave president and chief operating officer.

"By adding the innowave Chiller to our line of products, we are providing consumers high quality drinking water solutions. The innowave Chiller allows people to eliminate the hassles of bottled water with the added value of reduced contaminants, superior service and great-tasting water."

The 1-micron filter in the innowave Chiller has been tested by Spectrum Laboratories to ANSI/NSF Standard 53: Health Effects, for the reduction of at least 90% of lead and 99.99% of turbidity and cysts, such as giardia and cryptosporidium.

The innowave Chiller's filtration system also is certified for ANSI/NSF Standard 42: Aesthetic Effects for the reduction of chlorine and improvement of taste and odor.

The unit cleans water at the point of use, eliminating the lifting, storage and delivery so commonly associated with bottled water. For added reassurance, innowave service professionals provide superior service support by performing the preventative maintenance on the innowave ChillerTM.

"There are many water filtration systems on the market today. The independent testing parameters and quality service differentiate the innowave Chiller from the competition," Weekly said.

In addition to the innowave Chiller, innowave markets a wide range of point-of-use water treatment systems, including the innowave uvfTM, which combines filtration with ultraviolet light that kills microbial contaminants, and the state-of-the-art innowave 270TM, which uses distillation, filtration and ion exchange to produce the safest possible drinking water.
